Devotion Guide Day 2 by Jun Hao

Firstly, I want to talk more about the day 2 Devotion. I just want to write how I feel about this devotion.
Often we want GOD to bless us, to pray for our ”own” good. But, do we pray for GOD? Asking him during prayer to use us to ”help” him advance his kingdom.
Secondly, do u all know why GOD feels heartbroken when he saw people sin? I finally know why when I put myself in GOD’s shoe. GOD create these people to love, but in the end, their lifes are being toyed by the devil. Think about this, if you created something but someone came to destroy your creation. We can only feel GOD’s heart pain when we imagine these people are our close ones and love them with all our love. Thats the real meaning of LOVE GOD LOVE PPL. GOD feels heartbroken because these ppl who sin are his creation, his sons/daughts, his love ones. Now that we know how GOD feels, we can help by inviting these ppl to church and start life transformation then like that each day GOD will feel more delighted everyday. Amen?

God is……Hurt?

Do ‘i’ really feel the same way God does?

Well,it doesn’t just come when ‘i’ say ‘Yesssss,it does’.
I’ve got to really understand:

1)Huh?
2)Really? Oh my goodness….
3)Yes.I know it.
4)Hmmm….what can i do about it?
Where do i start?

1 Timothy 3:5 (The Message)
‘For if someone is unable to handle his own affairs, how can he take care of God’s church?’

Start with ‘my’ life first and see if there is any area that hurts God,
Before ‘i’ even start to think about this
corrupted and perversed world.

devotion learning from day2-day3 :daryl

In day two devotion,i’ve learnt that sometimes in our life we often only thinks about ourself not about God’s kingdom. We placed our own interests higher than God. Sometimes we even do things which hurts God, have u even placed yourself in God’s shoes? What if the person that you loved so much hurt you,how would you feel? Lets feel how God feels!!!
In day three devotion, i’ve learnt that by recieving God’s love fully, we got to give up wordly things/interests that we like. Or else we will never recieve it totally. Are we willing to love God more than the things that we like? Lets always placed God first in our life!!

ok… lots of things i need to think about today but i would like to share about my wfl i was looking thru what i wrote today and actually i really have to thank god that i did not have the notes ^^

it’s true that i have no notes and i feel abit bad seems like i’m just going in w/o paying lol ok back to the main point i was looking thru my notes and i felt that writing it is more better than just listening because i grasp and understand things better so i stayed for shepherding but left for outreach(thx 2 work-.-) wow really woke me up because i dun really think i’m really helping all thier need and i dun think i’m a good shepherd(but i’m gonna change^^) 3 thing social physical and as a friend parents and a mentor i think i only did the friend and social part frankly i am not so observant so i dun really notice what they really need( it dosen’t need to be ur sheep can be ur sheep mate or even ur shepherd!! ) But there is one thing i fail to do and i wish to do it that os to plan a goal for what i want my sheep to grow in or learn i think i have just plan for a short term but i think i should start to plan for the long run so i have decided to make a time frame for what i want to do with my sheep
remeber what is SMART is?

M-measurable
A-achievable
R-realistic/relevant
T-time (frame)

so i really want to apple (SMART) to what i want to do with my sheep

Benson’s First Quiet time!!!!!

Benson here…i know that some people may know the 3 sad things that happened in a line today.Don’t worry, i am not sulking anymore. Anyway… a very small part of my first quiet time was to read, Matthew 6:25-34 ,my brothers and sisters.For me, God is trying to tell me that its okay to submit EVERYTHING to him and have faith he will make the best of it. For example, if God were to request that my ipod would be taken away from me(which it was…) that does not entirely mean that it is a bad thing (Stated in ‘More than Yesterday, Less than Tomorrow, A Devotion Guide). Maybe God wants me to feel the pain of losing something in order to get stronger and more careful. Well, I do not dare to request it back but i will have Faith like what I have learnt in WFL today! . As said in, Jonah 4:5-10 , what God gives has the right to take back ANYTIME. In this case, Jonah was angry that after God gave him a vine for shelter, God sent a worm to chew and wither the vine. For me this means that if my God wants my ipod to go(which it did…), he could do it and I not be angry as he may have better plans for me ahead .

A Little Post From Jun Hao

I agree with Daryl cause I reflected on yesterday and then GOD showed me all the blessings he had poured out for me, all this he did it for me. The GREATEST BLESSING I receive is that GOD choose me and invited me to join him. I was thinking yesterday, if GOD had not put me in Montfort, I may not even receive Christ, I maybe at somewhere now maybe smoking? Having a gang? Having a fight? Worst! My purpose in life still remains unknown? And I want to thank GOD for putting me into this wonderful NEB! I am grateful for all the little and big things GOD gave me. GOD gave me a family (although my parents divorce) to experience LOVE, he gave me good friends to have joy with. He put me under Chee Li, so I can understand GOD’s work.

So guys the point is not about GOD blessing me. Is that he LOVE me so much and gave me all he have.So guys what’s yr life story? What GOD have bless you with? What made you LOVE GOD? Wake Up Guy! The END TIMES is near! Prepare yourself for camp and Jesus coming back! Think about it…

Read Matthew27-28 and did the devotion Guide. Found out that the message that God wants to bring to me is all about Love!! There are two kinds of people that displeases God,first people are people thats are hypocrite,they say that they love God and would never leave him but in the end because of worldly things,they left God. Second people are people who also say they love God but their words speak louder than their actions. Bear this in mind that some of us are like the two examples. Do we really know the real meaning of love?? God is love, thats why he sent Jesus to die on the cross who suffered for our SINS!!! BEAR THIS IN MIND, JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS FOR US!!!!!! and how did we treat him?? MANY of us here are wasting out life….Computer Computer and computer, watch Tv watch Tv and watch Tv, Sleep late and wake up late. THEN when we come CG, we come with a very sian attitude or when we go service, we only think about what we going to do after service!! IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL LOVE??? God gave us a life not to waste. I don’t know if you are reading this or not, We are very fortunate to be living!!! We are very fortunate that we have all the technology!! And we are vERY FORTUNATE because we have someone Who died for us because of our Wrongdoing. Do you think it’s Fair? If you are a human being!! A christian!! you would know that the truth is GOD LOVES US!!!

ok i have been reading from a small booklet called (the little book of life)

i know u guys know that i hate reading books but let me at let try to read a book which is not so wordy for now i will get tired

ok today i decided to read on security because as humans we are imperfect so we might doubt people especially for people who thinks a lot why because they think too much until they get confuse so.
I like all the verses in it but 1 of it caught my attention the most it’s in 1 peter 5:7 it says: God cares for u, so turn all ur worries over him i like it because right now we are in the holidays and our parents give ur lesser allownace or even none (to those people who have thier allowance the same good for u haha) we have to pay for our camp wfl and prepare money for church building funds so right now we are worried everyday wondering if we got money to spend each day. (that is just an example) it can be family problem social problem and u are worried about it turn to god tell him what are u worried about and i know god will make a way for all of us. Amen?

Hey guys word for life is tmr!! are u guys excited? to those people who are character study ur course starts from 2 and ends at 6(if i’m not wrong)
and for the rest it starts at 3 and end at 6
here is a few suggestion what u might want to do before entering
1) read ur notes now (lol)
2) prepare ur hearts for tmr teaching
3)spend ur qt
4)ask ppl around if the want to meet i try to give the suggestion see if u guys want to do it anot
for character study meet at 1 at plazza singapura kfc
the rest lets meet at 2 plazza singapura kfc

friday: CAREGROUP!!!
woohoo it has been almost 1 week since we had our last caregroup!! and it’s going to happen this friday!!!
